This process offers people the capabilities to input, edit, manage and share unique experiences using convergence media. Indeed, through these trail-blazing possibilities have revolutionised they ways we teach and learn today with our students being referred to as 'digital students'. These students are more media-centric than their previous generations and they actually speak digitally (Shelly, Cashman, Gunter, & Gunter, 2006; p.7). Hence, as educators in the digital age, we are challenged to equip ourselves to able to deliver effective instructions to today's digital students with the sole aim of improving classroom learning goals.

Therefore, this course a subject-specific course designed to equip the graduate student in languages education to identify, implement and evaluate existing and emerging technologies for use as a graduate student and as a language educator. The primarily goal of this course will be use computer assisted language learning (CALL) in our teaching and learning process, which is within the University of Education, Winneba's strategic vision of producing talented and resourceful educators for the digital age.
