This course aims at introducing students to the techniques of creative writing in the three genres—prose, poetry and drama. Students will be required to specialize in any one of the genres. The course will take students through the following:

·         Reading established poets and fiction writers.

·         Poetry, drama and fiction exercises.

·         Reading of one’s own work.

·         Constructive feedback.

·         Revision of one’s work.

·         Reading the play, Muddles, by Juliana Daniels

·         Designing a portfolio of creative works.
